Can I do Canada?

One way for me to get there is to go through Canada. I can shave off about 2 hours.

Any thoughts on taking all your worldly possessions through Canada?

Hmmm. Although you are not swarthy, you may be stopped by Canadian and/or US customs for an unknown amount of time while they search your Uhaul for evidence of WMDs, dirty bombs, Anthrax, etc. Which may end up adding 2 hours to your trip.

I agree with Robin. The likelihood of border hassles is high, and probably not worth going the Canadian route.
